NEW ORLEANS, January, 31, 2021: Shibusa Systems debuted a home on 408 Delery Street in Holy Cross that sets the new building standard for combining innovative, practical design, elegant aesthetics, and sustainable practices. Vann Joines, Owner of JOIN Development, tapped the construction-tech startup to design and build the first commercial Shibusa cottage. As a one-stop solution for the landowner, Shibusa Systems efficiently managed the workflow from conception to completion incorporating its Precision Component Onsite Assembly® process, guaranteeing excellent quality in the finished product.

As the new homeowner, Christian Davis, explained, “I had been saving for the perfect place to call my own, and after watching the Shibusa Cottage being constructed, I knew I couldn’t hesitate to put in an offer.  The house is beautiful inside and out, and I can tell from the quality workmanship, it was built to last and will be easy and cost-effective for me to maintain long-term. I am excited to see Shibusa grow, providing others like me with a great investment and perfect home.”

Shibusa Systems is proud to contribute this home to the Lower Ninth Ward, a neighborhood still in need of new housing after the devastating effects of Hurricane Katrina over 15 years ago.
