NICOLE BROWN

ASSEMBLY TECHNICIAN

Nicole Brown is a member of the Assembly Team. Her favorite part of the job is learning about new and innovative green building practices. Before coming to Shibusa, Nicole worked for many years as a Catastrophe Insurance Adjuster, traveling the country assessing storm damaged homes. She also co-founded and held the position of Director of Operations for Rugby Relief, a non-profit disaster relief organization, which organized volunteers and provided aid to over 300 homes in the wake of numerous flood, tornado and hurricane events throughout Texas, Louisiana and Mississippi. For a brief time, she was also a licensed EMT and licensed Private Investigator (pretty much a Jill of all trades). When not at work, she stays busy as the current President and Head Coach of the New Orleans Halfmoons Women's Rugby Club, a local non-profit amateur sports organization. She has been an avid rugby player for over 18 years, volunteers off and on with youth programs, and recently became certified as a referee
